About Me

Bones! I am Miquel Guiot Cusidó, a PhD student in Cryptography at the Computer Engineering and Mathematics Department of Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona (Catalonia), advised by Oriol Farràs.

I started my PhD in January 2024. Before that, I was a Research Engineer at Barcelona Supercomputing Center working in High-Performance Computing (HPC).

I obtained a MSc in Advanced Mathematics at Universitat de Barcelona, Barcelona (Catalonia). Formerly, I completed a BSc in Mathematics and a BSc in Computer Science at the same university.

Research Interests

My work focuses on the study of secret sharing schemes, a cryptographic primitive. Furthermore, I am also interested in all areas of cryptography and its relation to complexity theory and HPC.
